One official address on the internet, in your language, kept up to date
A political website gives a candidate, MLA, MP or local leader one official place online that people and journalists can trust. Bharat Survey designs and runs political websites for leaders and their offices: bilingual pages about your work, a news and events section your staff can update, a photo gallery, a contact form that reaches the office, and links to your verified social accounts. Choose a one-page site, a multi-page site with a content editor, or a website linked to office tools. Every site is scoped and quoted for you.
- Domain registered in your name, hosting managed
- English plus Hindi or your state language
- News, events and gallery your staff can update
- Timelines and price on quotation after a call

Social media pages come and go, and anyone can open one in your name. A website on your own domain is harder to fake and easier to point people to.

A door that stays open
The levels describe scope, not price. We quote each site after a short call about what your office will actually maintain.
One-page leader website
A single, well-built page: introduction, focus areas, recent work, gallery, news highlights, contact form and social links. Good for a first-time candidate or a leader who wants an official address without a publishing routine.
- Single scrolling page
- Two languages
- Contact form and social links

Multi-page website with a content editor
Separate pages for biography, work in the constituency, news, events and gallery, with a simple editor so office staff can post updates and photos themselves. Suits sitting MLAs and MPs who publish often.
- News and events sections
- Staff login to post updates
- Photo and video gallery
Website plus office tools
The multi-page site connected to office tools we set up for you: grievance requests from the website land in the office's tracker, and events published on the site come from the office calendar.
- Website requests into the office tracker
- Shared events calendar
- Set up on request

Our view

We agree the level, languages, sections and who in your office will post updates. A smaller site that stays current beats a large one that goes stale.

The Election Commission of India's instructions on social media and internet campaigning, issued in October 2013, apply to candidates' websites as well as their social accounts. Candidates are asked to declare their authentic social media accounts in the nomination affidavit (Form 26). Political advertisements on websites need pre-certification by the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee, and spending on internet campaigning, including making and maintaining websites, is counted in the candidate's election expenditure.
The Model Code of Conduct also applies to what the site says during an election. We will not publish content that appeals to caste or religion or attacks opponents' private lives, and we recommend your office checks campaign-period content against current ECI instructions.
Voter search on a public website
Some leaders want a booth finder on their site. The default we build is a link to the Election Commission's electoral search, which always shows the current roll. A search built on roll data hosted on your own site raises questions about bulk access and personal data, so we scope it only after you have taken legal advice, and never with bulk export.
During an election
- Declare official accounts in Form 26
- Pre-certify paid political ads
- Count website costs in expenditure
- Follow the Model Code of Conduct
- Keep campaign content on the record
Not the right fit if
- You want anonymous pages attacking opponents
- You need fake reviews, followers or engagement
- You want a site that looks like a government portal
- You need it live in 48 hours with no content ready
A good fit if
- An official, bilingual home for a leader
- Offices that will post news and events regularly
- Linking website requests to office follow-up
- Keeping the domain and content in your control

How much does a political website cost?
It depends on the level, the number of languages, how much content we write or translate, and whether office tools are connected. We do not publish a price list. After a short call we send a written quotation with the scope and timeline, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Who owns the domain and the content?
You do. The domain is registered in your name or your office's name, and the text and photos remain yours. If you move to another provider, we hand over the domain control and an export of the content.
Can my office update the website without calling you?
On the multi-page level and above, yes. Named staff get a login to a simple editor for news, events and gallery photos. We train them on it and stay available for changes to the layout or new sections.
Can the website show the voter list or a voter search?
By default the site links to the Election Commission's electoral search, which shows the current official roll. A search built on roll data on your own site needs legal advice first, because it makes personal data easy to access in bulk. We scope that only on request and never with bulk export.
How long does it take to build a candidate website?
Timelines are agreed in the quotation and depend mostly on how quickly content and approvals come from your office. A one-page site with content ready moves much faster than a multi-page site that needs writing and translation.
Do you run social media accounts too?
No. We link and embed your official social accounts on the site, but we do not run social media accounts, buy followers or place political ads. Your office or your media team keeps those channels.
