From the pols of the walled city to the housing societies west of the Sabarmati
Bharat Survey is a survey company in Ahmedabad for campaign teams, brands, researchers and civic bodies who need interviews they can check. We plan samples across the 48 AMC wards and the district's rural talukas, deploy field teams per project, and record every interview on an offline Android app with GPS, time and consent, so you can see where each response came from.
- Samples split by AMC zone, ward and taluka
- Gujarati-first questionnaires with Hindi versions
- GPS and timestamp on every interview
- Daily progress on a web dashboard
Hello, I am Ram Kumar. This survey is run by Sample Organisation. Purpose: to learn about amenities in your area. It is voluntary, and you can say no at any time.
Checked against public sources in September 2026. We plan quotas from these units, not from a city-wide guess.

Ahmedabad's assembly seats range from dense old-city segments like Jamalpur-Khadiya and Dariapur to Sanand and Viramgam, where industrial estates sit beside villages. One city-wide number hides that spread.
Seat samples that respect the river divide
East of the Sabarmati, segments such as Naroda, Nikol and Bapunagar have very different housing and work patterns from Naranpura or Ellisbridge in the west. We set quotas per assembly segment and per AMC ward inside it, so a campaign reads each seat on its own terms.
- Quotas by segment and ward
- Age, gender and occupation mix
- Issue ranking per seat
Reading Gandhinagar seat from its Ahmedabad side
Five of the district's assembly segments vote in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat. A Lok Sabha study there needs Ahmedabad fieldwork and Gandhinagar district fieldwork planned as one sample. We build that split before interviews start.

The 2026 AMC polls and the next assembly cycle both use the same ground. Here is the order we work in.

Map segments to AMC wards and talukas
City segments are split into wards; rural ones like Dholka or Dhandhuka into villages. Each unit gets a target and an interviewer.Research lead3,000Target outlets2,184Visited1,962Audited1,871AcceptedDaily accepted auditsLast 12 days - 02
Questionnaire in Gujarati, checked aloud
Questions are written in Gujarati first, then Hindi for migrant worker pockets, and read aloud in a pilot so wording sounds like a conversation.Field supervisorSurvey 3/6 · AmenitiesOfflineHow is drinking water in your area?- Comes regularly

Our view
Textile trading, auto and industrial suppliers around Sanand, and fast-growing western suburbs give research briefs here a distinct mix.

Geography
- AMC wards only, or rural talukas too
- Which of the 7 AMC zones matter most
- Whether Gandhinagar seat segments are in scope
Respondents
- Gujarati, Hindi or both
- Quota for migrant workers in eastern industrial areas
- Society residents who need prior appointments
Output
- Seat, ward or zone-level tables
- Raw data with GPS and timestamps
- Daily dashboard access for your team
Not the right fit if
- A permanent Ahmedabad office or a fixed local headcount; field teams are deployed per project
- Use of voter-roll personal data or tracking of individual voters
- Promised election outcomes or seat predictions presented as certain
A good fit if
- Ward and segment-level opinion and issue surveys
- Household and consumer research with GPS evidence
- Booth coordination on an offline Android app

Can you survey inside the pols of Ahmedabad's walled city?
Yes, with planning. Pols usually have one entrance and close-knit neighbours, so interviewers are briefed to explain the study at the gate, seek a private spot for the interview and log a return visit if the respondent is busy. Old-city routes are sampled separately from the western wards so results are not blended.
Do you cover the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat from Ahmedabad?
Five of its seven assembly segments, including Ghatlodia, Naranpura and Sabarmati, are in Ahmedabad district. We plan those with the two Gandhinagar district segments as one sample, with separate quotas so each segment can also be read on its own.
Which languages do your Ahmedabad questionnaires use?
Gujarati is the default, since about three in four district residents reported it as their mother tongue in Census 2011. We add Hindi versions for industrial and migrant worker areas and Urdu where a ward's profile calls for it, and pilot every version before full fieldwork.
How do you reach residents of gated societies in western Ahmedabad?
We write to the society committee or facility manager ahead of the field day, share the interviewer list and study purpose, and agree timings. Where access is refused, we record the refusal and replace the unit using the sampling plan rather than interviewing at the gate.
Do you have an office in Ahmedabad?
We do not claim one. Field teams are deployed for projects in Ahmedabad, supervised through the dashboard, with GPS and time checks on every interview. The proposal names the field plan, languages and daily targets for your study.

Tell us the wards, seats or talukas, your respondents and your deadline. We will reply with a sample plan and field schedule.
