Segments sorted into three Prayagraj seats
The brief is split into Allahabad, Phulpur and Bhadohi segments, and city wards are matched to their zone and segment.

UP's most populous district, split three ways at the ballot box
Bharat Survey is a survey company in Prayagraj for campaign teams, researchers, brands and public programmes. Prayagraj Nagar Nigam has 100 wards in 8 zones, and the district's twelve assembly segments vote in the Allahabad, Phulpur and Bhadohi seats. We plan samples segment by segment, deploy field teams per project and log every interview offline with GPS, time and consent.
Census 2011 counted about 59.5 lakh people in Prayagraj district, more than any other district in Uttar Pradesh. That population is spread across twelve assembly segments, and no single parliamentary seat holds the city. Allahabad North and Allahabad West vote in Phulpur, while Allahabad South votes in the Allahabad seat with Meja, Karchhana, Bara and Koraon.
Handia and Pratappur are counted in Bhadohi, a seat centred on another district. A Phulpur study mixes Phaphamau, Soraon and Phulpur segments with two city segments, so its sample cannot be drawn from city wards alone. We set quotas by segment so each seat can be reported on its own.
Checked against district, government and election sources in September 2026.

Three. Meja, Karchhana, Allahabad South, Bara and Koraon form the Allahabad seat. Phaphamau, Soraon, Phulpur, Allahabad West and Allahabad North form Phulpur. Handia and Pratappur vote in Bhadohi with segments from Bhadohi district. We sample by segment so each seat gets its own figures.
The corporation lists 100 wards grouped into 8 zones. Each sampled ward in our plan carries its zone and assembly segment, so one field round can report civic results by zone and political results by segment.
We avoid city wards near the mela area during peak bathing days, because crowds, closures and visitors distort both access and the sample. Village segments farther away can often continue. We mark those dates in the field plan before work starts.
Usually yes. Several segments lie across the Yamuna or Ganga from the city. We assign separate teams to each side so travel across bridges does not cut into interview time, and track each team's progress on the dashboard.

Send the seat, segments or wards, the respondents you need and your dates. We will return a segment-wise plan with mela dates flagged.
