Why Jodhpur needs two plans
A city corporation and a seat that reaches deep into the Thar
Three assembly segments, Jodhpur, Soorsagar and Sardarpura, cover the municipal corporation. The other five in the parliamentary seat are desert towns and villages, one of them, Pokaran, in Jaisalmer district. We plan the city and the outer segments as separate field operations.
