Political research
The six urban-leaning segments of Patna Sahib and the rural-heavy Pataliputra seat behave differently, so a district-wide average hides most of what a campaign needs.
Voter mood by segment, not by district
As a political survey company patna campaigns can brief quickly, we set quotas separately for Digha, Bankipur and Kumhrar, where respondents are more often salaried, student or trader households, and for Maner, Paliganj and Bikram, where farm and migrant-worker households dominate.
Every questionnaire stays neutral. We report issue salience, leader awareness and the reasons behind preferences, not predictions of who will win.

Patna votes in Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha and urban local body elections on different calendars. Each needs a different sampling unit.
Two seats, twelve segments
Patna Sahib takes Bakhtiyarpur, Digha, Bankipur, Kumhrar, Patna Sahib and Fatuha; Pataliputra takes Danapur, Maner, Phulwari, Masaurhi, Paliganj and Bikram. Mokama and Barh sit in Munger Lok Sabha seat, so a district-wide sample needs care.

Can you cover both Patna Lok Sabha seats in one survey?
Yes. We build one sample with separate quotas for Patna Sahib and Pataliputra and report them apart. Mokama and Barh are in Patna district but vote in the Munger Lok Sabha seat, so we ask at the brief whether you want them included as a separate cut or left out of a Lok Sabha study.
Which language do interviews in Patna use?
Census 2011 shows Magahi and Hindi as the two main mother tongues in Patna district, with Urdu the third. We prepare Hindi questionnaires and train interviewers to switch to Magahi in conversation, and add an Urdu version where the sample includes neighbourhoods that need it.
When should fieldwork in Patna be avoided?
The Chhath weeks, when many families travel and ghats are busy, and peak monsoon when low-lying wards waterlog and diara areas along the Ganga flood. We schedule around these windows and tell you plainly if your deadline forces fieldwork into them.
Do you have a local team in Patna?
