Political research
Gaya's assembly segments do not all vote in the same parliamentary race. Gurua, Imamganj and Tikari go with Aurangabad, Atri goes with Jahanabad, and six segments form the Gaya seat. A district sample that ignores this will blend three different contests.

What language do Gaya interviews use?
Census 2011 lists Hindi and Magahi as the two main mother tongues in Gaya district, with Urdu third. Questionnaires are prepared in Hindi, interviewers speak Magahi where respondents prefer it, and an Urdu version is added when the sample needs it.
