Lok Sabha
A Lok Sabha election survey agency in Bihar has to weight six assembly segments per seat, and Bihar's seats are large; samples are drawn by segment.

243 segments, two river plains, one monsoon to plan around
Bharat Survey is a survey company in Bihar for campaign teams, departments, CSR foundations and researchers who need household data from the Gangetic villages as well as Patna's wards. We write Hindi questionnaires, test wording with Maithili, Bhojpuri and Magahi speakers, train enumerators for each project and GPS-stamp every interview on an offline Android app.
Bihar's large, mobile electorate is easy to sample badly. We stay neutral and publish our method.

CSR programmes in Bihar often focus on health, school learning and livelihoods in aspirational districts such as Purnia, Katihar and Araria. We reuse the baseline village frame at endline and pull comparison villages from the same block, so flood years do not masquerade as programme effects.

Hindi in Devanagari is the base. We pilot wording with Maithili speakers in Mithila districts, Bhojpuri speakers in the west, and Magahi speakers around Patna and Gaya. Urdu versions are available, since Urdu is Bihar's second official language.
Only with care. Kosi, Gandak and Bagmati floods cut roads between July and September. We plan buffer days, agree substitute villages in advance and log every substitution, or move fieldwork to the post-flood months when that suits the study.
We do not claim a local office. For each project we recruit and train enumerators, often from the sampled districts, supervise them, and verify records through GPS, time stamps and back-check visits before data is accepted.
We collect only the demographic questions a client's study legally needs, with consent and neutral wording. We do not import voter lists or caste lists into the app, and we never promise an electoral outcome in Bihar or anywhere else.
