One planned city, three very different kinds of neighbourhood
Bharat Survey works as a survey agency Chandigarh departments, researchers, CSR teams and brands can hire for household, ward and outlet studies. We sample the planned sectors, the rehabilitation colonies and the villages inside the Union Territory as separate groups, run interviews in Hindi, Punjabi or English, and GPS-stamp every record on our Android app.

Do you cover Mohali and Panchkula along with Chandigarh?
Yes, if the brief needs the tricity. Mohali is in Punjab and Panchkula in Haryana, so we treat each as its own stratum with its own frame and report them separately from the Union Territory, since administration and civic bodies differ.
Which languages do you use for interviews in Chandigarh?
Hindi, Punjabi in Gurmukhi, and English. Enumerators carry all three versions on the phone and switch at the door. Colony samples lean to Hindi, village samples often to Punjabi, and sector samples include more English.
Is there an assembly election in Chandigarh?
No. Chandigarh has no legislative assembly. Residents vote for one Lok Sabha seat and for councillors of the Municipal Corporation, which has 35 wards. Any opinion research we run for these polls stays neutral.
Do you have a team based in Chandigarh?
We do not claim a local office or standing team. For each project we recruit and train enumerators, supervise them against GPS and time data, and back-check a share of households before accepting the records.
