Roles, reports and surveys for the people who carry a campaign
Bharat Survey's karyakarta app is for campaign offices that need to see which workers are active, which booths reported today and where help is needed. Booth pramukhs and panna pramukhs file a short daily booth report from a light app role. Volunteers who survey take a seat and run door-to-door forms offline. The war room sees it all by assembly constituency, without tracking anyone outside their own shift.
A campaign is a chain of people with different jobs. The app gives each one only the screens they need.
The report compliance view lists booths that have not sent a daily report today. It is often the most useful screen on the board, because a quiet booth is usually a problem booth.
Booths carry an A, B, C or D rating with a reason and a history of changes, so the office knows why a booth moved and who changed it.
Location in Bharat Survey is user-initiated. A surveyor taps Shift Start to share location with the office, sees a persistent notification while it runs, and it stops at Shift End. Arrival checks and survey submissions capture a location at the moment of the tap. There is no background tracking outside shifts.
Booth pramukhs filing reports from a light role do not share a live location at all. Their reports carry the time and the booth they belong to.
Android's Play Store policies restrict background location, and workers are volunteers, not employees under surveillance. Shift-only sharing gives the office what it needs during active fieldwork and nothing more.
This is for party and candidate workers. Official polling staff on government election duty use the Election Commission's own systems, not ours.
Booth pramukhs confirm their team is at the booth and note any early issues for the war room.
Hourly turnout figures are entered manually per booth, with a count of known supporters not yet voted where the campaign tracks it.
