Bharat Survey is a survey company in Nagpur for campaigns, researchers, NGOs and government departments that want fieldwork they can audit. Field teams are deployed per project across the Nagpur Municipal Corporation's 38 prabhags and the talukas beyond it, using an offline Android app that ties each interview to a GPS point and time. Progress is visible on a web panel every day.

Nagpur's civic map changes how political samples are built. Voters in most prabhags elect four corporators, so a single-ward logic does not fit.
Prabhag samples, not ward samples
The January 2026 Nagpur Municipal Corporation election filled 151 seats across 38 prabhags, most returning four members. We size samples per prabhag and report issue priorities and candidate awareness for the whole unit, with sub-area splits only where the count supports it.
City seats and rural seats read differently
The Nagpur Lok Sabha seat covers six city assembly segments. Ramtek covers Katol, Savner, Hingna, Umred, Kamthi and Ramtek, which mix peri-urban growth with farm villages. Questionnaires carry separate modules for civic services and for crop, irrigation and market issues, kept neutral and reviewed before launch.

How do you sample Nagpur's four-member prabhags?
We treat each prabhag as the reporting unit because that is where voters choose multiple corporators. Sample size is set per prabhag, spread across its neighbourhoods by GPS, and results show issue priorities and awareness for the whole prabhag. We only split further when the interview count is large enough to be meaningful.
Can one survey cover both Nagpur and Ramtek Lok Sabha seats?
Yes. The frame covers the six city segments under Nagpur and the six segments under Ramtek, with separate quotas so rural villages are not swamped by city responses. Reports can be read per Lok Sabha seat, per assembly segment or combined for the district.
Does Nagpur's summer heat change fieldwork?
It does. From April to June, doorstep interviews move to early morning and evening shifts, daily targets per enumerator are lowered, and buffer days are added. The dashboard shows completion against plan so any slowdown is visible early rather than at the deadline.
Do you run agricultural surveys around Nagpur?
Yes, farmer and trader interviews in the orange-growing talukas are part of the market research we run for the region. Questions on prices, storage and inputs are scheduled around harvest so growers are reachable, and every interview is geo-tagged to its village.
