Field operations, canvassing and research for candidates who want to see what is really happening
Bharat Survey is an election campaign management company in India for candidates, campaign managers and party units that want the ground game measured, not guessed. We run door-to-door canvassing and voter surveys with trained field teams, give every volunteer an offline Android app, and show the campaign office which wards were visited, what people said and where the gaps are.
- Door-to-door canvassing with GPS-verified visit records
- Issue and mood surveys between canvassing rounds
- Volunteer tasks and booth reports in one panel
- No voter-roll uploads and no tracking of individual voters
Most campaigns know how many pamphlets were printed. Few know how many homes were actually visited, in which lanes, and what those households raised. That second number is where we work.
Our part of a campaign is the field layer: planning which areas get covered, sending canvassers and surveyors out with a clear assignment, and bringing back evidence of every visit. Each record carries a time, a GPS point and a short structured note, so a campaign manager can open a map at 9 pm and see which parts of the constituency went untouched that day.
Between canvassing rounds we run short, properly sampled voter surveys. Canvassing tells you what your own supporters hear; a sampled survey tells you what the whole seat thinks. Keeping the two separate stops a campaign from mistaking an enthusiastic street for a winning ward.
Election management company India teams can audit
We call ourselves an election management company only in this narrow sense: we manage field operations and the data they produce. Strategy, speeches and alliances stay with the candidate and the party. Our job is to make sure the decisions those people take are based on visits that happened and opinions that were really recorded.
What you receive each day
- Ward and booth coverage map
- Visits per volunteer, with timestamps
- Top local issues by area
- Areas flagged as not yet visited
- Follow-up list for grievances raised
- Weekly survey read-out between rounds
Each programme below uses the same app and dashboard, so the campaign office sees one picture instead of five spreadsheets.
Political canvassing with proof of coverage
Canvassers get a daily lane or polling-area assignment. The app records the visit, the household's main concern in a few taps and any request for follow-up. Supervisors see who covered what, and visits logged far from the assigned area are flagged instead of counted.
- Area assignment per shift
- Visit time and location recorded
- Concern and follow-up captured in structured fields
Door to door survey for political canvassing teams
A canvasser is not a neutral interviewer, so we keep persuasion and measurement apart. Our surveyors, not party volunteers, run a short sampled questionnaire on issues, awareness of the candidate and satisfaction with local services, and the results come back weighted by area.
- Separate surveyor team
- Random household selection
- Results by ward or block
Election door to door survey rounds
Repeated rounds three or four weeks apart show whether the campaign is moving opinion where it is spending effort. We report changes with the sample size next to them, so a two-point shift in a small sample is not read as a trend.
- Same questions each round
- Change shown with sample size
- Area-wise comparison
Membership drive political party units can track
For a party unit running a membership drive, the app logs each enrolment form a worker completes, with consent, and the dashboard shows progress by mandal or ward. Membership data stays in the party's own workspace; we do not reuse it for any other client.
- Consent recorded on the form
- Progress by unit and worker
- Party-owned data, exportable
Hello, I am Ram Kumar. This survey is run by Sample Organisation. Purpose: to learn about amenities in your area. It is voluntary, and you can say no at any time.
Voter registration drive support
Volunteers help eligible citizens, especially first-time voters, find the Election Commission's own channels: Form 6 on the Voters' Service Portal or the Voter Helpline app. We record that help was offered and whether the person said they would apply. We do not collect EPIC numbers or upload electoral rolls.
- Points people to official ECI forms
- Counts help offered, not identities
- No electoral roll data handled
- Comes regularly
- Comes sometimes
- Rarely / never
- Don't know
GOTV campaign reporting from booths
On polling day, booth volunteers post simple hourly reports: queue length, any disruption, and whether the party's booth agents are in place. A GOTV campaign in our system is about logistics and reminders to the public at large, never about monitoring how named individuals voted.
- Hourly booth status posts
- Issue alerts to the war room
- No individual voter tracking
Our view on campaign data
Urban local body contests are decided in small wards with very local issues. The field model shrinks to fit.

Not the right fit if
- You want a single agency to handle ads, influencers and rallies
- You expect a guaranteed seat or vote-share outcome
- You want us to load a voter list and profile named voters
- The campaign has no volunteers or budget for field staff
A good fit if
- You want proof that canvassing reached every area
- You need neutral survey numbers between rounds
- Your volunteers work in low-network villages or dense wards
- The campaign office wants one daily field dashboard

How to win an election?
No agency can promise that, and you should be wary of any that does. What field work can do is show where the campaign is not reaching voters, which local issues matter in each area, and whether opinion is shifting between rounds. Candidates then decide where to spend time and volunteers based on evidence rather than impressions.
Do you manage rallies, ads or social media?
No. Rally and yatra logistics, advertising purchases and social media handling are outside our scope. We focus on door-to-door field operations, sampled voter surveys, volunteer reporting and the dashboards that tie them together, and we are happy to share data exports with whichever agencies handle the rest.
Do you use voter lists in the app?
We do not upload electoral rolls or store personal voter data, and the app is not built to track individual voters. Canvassing is planned by area, lane and polling-station cluster, which gives coverage evidence without profiling named people.
Can party volunteers use the app themselves?
Yes. Volunteers log in on Android phones, receive area assignments and record visits offline. Our supervisors or your coordinators review coverage, and visits logged outside the assigned area are flagged for review.
Do you work for any party?
We work for candidates and units across the political spectrum on a project basis, keep each client's data in a separate workspace, and do not publish or share one client's findings with another.

Send the constituency or wards, the contest date and what your volunteers already do. We will reply with a coverage plan and survey design.
