Ward-level fieldwork across the five Greater Bengaluru city corporations
Bharat Survey is a survey company in Bengaluru for campaign teams, brands, researchers and civic bodies that need interviews they can check. We plan samples across the 369 wards of the five city corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority, deploy field teams per project, and send every record through an offline Android app with GPS, time and photo evidence. You see ward-wise progress daily, in Kannada and English.

Hello, I am Ram Kumar. This survey is run by Sample Organisation. Purpose: to learn about amenities in your area. It is voluntary, and you can say no at any time.
Bengaluru's administration changed in 2025, when the Greater Bengaluru Governance Act replaced BBMP with five city corporations. Old ward lists no longer match the new boundaries, so we sample from the notified ones.

Ward opinion studies across five corporations
The move from 198 wards to 369 means most earlier ward-level data in Bengaluru now describes areas that no longer exist as units. As a political survey company in Bengaluru, we rebuild samples on the new corporation and ward boundaries and report issue priorities, such as water supply, drainage, traffic and garbage collection, ward by ward. Questions stay neutral and we do not work to a preferred result.

Bengaluru voters take part in three kinds of elections on three different maps: parliamentary seats, assembly constituencies and the new corporation wards. An election survey agency in Bengaluru has to keep these apart, because one apartment complex can sit in one assembly segment and a different corporation ward from the block across the road. We tag every interview with both, so results roll up either way.
Why turnout questions need care in this city
Many residents moved to Bengaluru for work and remain registered elsewhere. Our questionnaires check where a respondent is registered to vote before asking about vote intention, so estimates are not inflated by people who will vote in another state.

Do you use the old BBMP wards or the new GBA wards?
We use the ward boundaries notified for the five Greater Bengaluru city corporations, 369 wards in all. If you need comparison with older BBMP-era data, we can tag records to both, but results reported by ward follow the new map so they match what councillors and officials now work with.
How do your teams get into gated apartment societies?
We write to resident welfare associations or facility managers before fieldwork, explain the survey and share interviewer identity details. Some societies allow common-area interviews only; we plan the sample around those rules instead of skipping apartments, which would bias results towards independent houses.
Can you work as a data collection agency Bangalore startups can brief quickly?
Yes. For a small consumer or product study we can agree a questionnaire, quotas and timeline within a short call, run a pilot and start fieldwork. Every response arrives on a dashboard with GPS and time, so product teams can watch data come in rather than wait for a final file.
Which languages do interviewers use in Bengaluru?
Kannada and English cover most interviews, and we add Tamil, Telugu, Hindi or Urdu versions where the sample needs them. Each translation is back-checked, and the respondent chooses the language on the consent screen.
