Find out what voters in each booth think, and know the answers came from those booths
Bharat Survey is a voter survey app for candidates, campaign offices, political consultants and poll agencies who send volunteers or surveyors door to door. Surveyors use an offline Android app with assigned wards, villages or booths and a tested questionnaire. The campaign office sees progress by assembly constituency and booth during shifts, and every interview is checked against the assigned area before it counts.

Voter data collection app that respects the person answering
The surveyor introduces the survey, reads a short consent statement and records the answer. A refusal is saved as a visit outcome, not a blank form. Questions cover issues, satisfaction with services and voting considerations as your questionnaire defines them. The app does not import electoral rolls, and it does not build profiles of named voters.

Load the constituency
The AC is set up with its booths from your booth master, plus villages or wards. Quotas by booth, gender or age group are agreed in the sample plan.Campaign admin123456789101112131415161718192021222324252627282930A strongB fairC weakD very weakNo report today - 02

Our view
Both involve knocking on doors. They need different forms and different ways of reading the data.
Canvassing round
Outreach by party workers
- Short contact form per household
- Issues raised and follow-up needed
- Counts by booth, not percentages
- Workers may be known supporters
- Good for coverage and grievances
Opinion survey
Measuring what voters think
- Sampled households, fixed questionnaire
- Neutral wording and trained surveyors
- Percentages with a stated method
- Surveyors should not campaign
- Good for decisions on issues and booths
Assigned areas, not free roaming
Every surveyor or volunteer is assigned booths, wards or villages. Records collected elsewhere are labelled outside area and held for review, so the booth numbers you see are the booths that were visited.

Issues and grievances captured once
Local issues raised at the door, such as water supply, roads or pensions, can be recorded as structured choices plus a note, and turned into help tickets for follow-up by the campaign office.

- Read-only
- Live during shifts
- Hindi and English
Questionnaire
- Neutral question wording
- Consent statement approved
- Skip rules tested on a phone
- Hindi and local-language labels checked
Field plan
- Booths and wards assigned
- Quotas by booth agreed
- Supervisors named per area
- Sync points on each route
Compliance
- No voter roll personal data used
- No caste or religion targeting in outreach
- Model Code of Conduct timelines checked
- ECI rules on publishing poll results followed
Not the right fit if
- Import or search the electoral roll
- Print or share voter slips
- Send bulk WhatsApp or SMS messages
- Predict or guarantee an election result
A good fit if
- Door-to-door opinion surveys by booth
- Campaign canvassing with issue follow-up
- Poll agencies that must show visits were real
- Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, civic and panchayat polls

Can we use party volunteers as surveyors?
You can, but results from supporters knocking on doors read differently from a neutral survey. For canvassing, volunteers are fine. For opinion measurement, use trained surveyors who do not campaign, and state the method when you share numbers internally.
Does the app use the voter list?
No. Version 1 does not import electoral rolls or store voter-list personal data. Surveys are organised by booth, ward and village, and respondents are recorded as anonymous or with details they consent to give.
How do you catch fake interviews?
Each record carries arrival and submit location, accuracy, mock GPS flags, timestamps and duration. Records outside the assigned area, very short interviews or clusters from one spot go to a review queue, and supervisors can back-check a sample.
Can we publish the survey results?
Publishing is your decision and must follow Election Commission of India rules, including the ban on publishing exit poll results during the notified period. We provide method notes and data; we do not publish results for campaigns.
How many surveyors can one account run?
As many as the seats you buy. Seats are enforced on the server and extra seats can be requested during a round. Supervisors and viewers who do not collect data do not need seats.

Send your questionnaire and booth list. We will set up a test so your team sees verified records arriving booth by booth.
