Three. On 11 February 2026 the enlarged GHMC was divided into GHMC with 150 wards, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation with 76 and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation with 74, a total of 300. A further expansion of wards has been proposed, so we confirm the notified list at brief.
Hyderabad: Malakpet, Karwan, Goshamahal, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Yakutpura and Bahadurpura. Secunderabad: Musheerabad, Amberpet, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Sanathnagar, Nampally and Secunderabad. Outer parts of the metro fall in other seats.
